A prayer for the middle of the day

I wrote the following prayer for use in the middle of the day to go with a series of examples of prayers throughout the day for use by young people. Midday prayer – an adaption of the Angelus

This is an example of how traditional prayers of the Church can be adapted to the rhythm of the Anglican Rosary. The Angelus is traditionally said morning, noon and evening. It is used here as an option for a prayer to be said at midday. Read the rest of this entry »
